What is cloud file migration?

Cloud file migration is a way to migrate files on one cloud storage service, or migrate files between different cloud storage services.

There are many cloud storage services offered free, like Google Drives, AmazonS3, Dropbox, Box, OneDrive, FTP, Amazon, Cloudme, Cubby, Mydrive, WEB.DE, Yandex, Hidrive, Baidu, MediaFire, ownCloud, Alfresco, ADrive, Flickr, HubiC, Mysql, Evernote, MEGA, SugarSync, etc. You may have multiple cloud storage services or multiple accounts since many of them have a limitation storage volume. However, it can be a hassle for managing multiple cloud accounts. Thus, many users want to move files between cloud services so that they can keep a good manage for them. After sign in MultCloud, you can start your journey with it for managing your files on cloud drives. Here we take an example of migrating data between Dropbox and Google Drive with MultCloud.

First, you need add cloud drives you use to MultCloud. Click Add Cloud Drives, and select the cloud drive you use in the window, select Dropbox and click Next to go on.

Then, click Add Dropbox Account, and sign in to add it.

After adding one cloud drive, you can use it to add your other cloud drives with the same steps. All the cloud storage services will be list at the left box. After adding all your cloud drives, you can start to migrate files between cloud drives with MultCloud in flexible.

MultCloud provides you at least 4 ways for cloud file migration. The utility Transfer is a powerful way to migrate files/folders between your cloud storage services. Click Transfer at the top, and it will show you as the following screen shot. Select the files you want to migrate (from Dropbox), and select another cloud storage service as the destination place (to Google Drive).
